Use of spring touch in GIS:

Spring tentacles refer to a ring coil spring wound by wire for conduction, usually made of 0.1-2.0mm copper wire, with an oval cross-section. Compared with conductive structures such as plum contacts and surface contacts, spring contact fingers have the following characteristics:

1. Simple structure, small size, low cost.

2. Simple equipment, small assembly workload, no special tools required.

3. The allowable deformation is large, and the processing accuracy required for the contact base and conductor is low.

4. There are many contact points and good conductivity.

5. It is easy to change the structure for different flow rates.

Due to these characteristics, it is widely used in gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (GIS).
